Purchased by Mrs Enriqueta Rylands, on behalf of the John Rylands Library, in 1901 AD from James Ludovic Lindsay, 26th Earl of Crawford .

Script

Copied in black ink in Nasta’liq script. Emendations in a different hand. Some chapter headings, Arabic text and titles marked in red ink.

Binding

Red and brown leather on pasteboard. Mislabelled as Jung-i Kalām-i Shiʿr on spine.
