Contains two texts. Text I : الرساله العلیه فی الاحادیث النبویه composed by Ḥusayn Vāʻiẓ Baihaqi al-Kāshifī .The work contains 40 traditions divided into eight parts, called asl اسل (pillar), treating eight basic Islamic issues. Kāshifī dedicated this work on f. 2r to Abi al-Ma‘alī ‘All al-Mukhtar al-Nisabah al-‘Ubaid . Text II: An untitled account of the mode of life, miracles and utterances of the Sufi saint, Shaikh Abdullah B. Mir Muzaffar al-Husaini al-Tirmizi (d. A. H. 1025/A. D. 1616 or 1035/1626) , father of Mir Muhammad Salih Kashfī Tirmiz̲ī, d. 1650, or 1651 . He was a celebrated calligrapher for which he received from Akbar, Emperor of Hindustan, 1542-1605 the title of Mushkin Qalam . He is the author of five masnavi poems; in his poetry he used the takhallus of Vaṣfî . The present work, is seemingly written after his death by one of the desciples of the Shaikh.
