Notes

This is Ḥunayn ibn Ishaq 's Translation of Galen's commentary on the Hippocratic Aphorisms. It is misbounded: the portion of fols. 1a-90b starts from a middle of book 4 Aph. 70 to a middle of book 7 Aph. 70, and fol. 159 has the rest of book 7; and the portion of fols. 91a-150b starts from a middle of book 1 Aph. 1 to a middle of book 3 Aph. 8; and the portion of fols. 151a-158b starts from a middle of book 4 Aph. 47 to book 4 Aph. 66.; moreover, the part starting from a middle of book 3 Aph. 8 to a middle of book 4 Aph. 39 is bounded as E11: Madrid, Escurial, MS árabe 818, fols. 88a-127b. The beginning of each Book is as follows: Bk1: 91a (it lacks the first folios, so it begins in the middle of comm on lemma i. 1); Bk2: 116a; Bk3: 146a; [the major part of Bk 3 and Bk 4 is in E11]; Bk5: 8b; Bk6: 38b; Bk7: 67b.

The copy is unnamed.
