Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم و بـه ثقتـي، الحمد لله واهب المنن من فضله العمـيم خالق الإنسان فى أحسن تقويـم، أحمده على ما أنعم، وأشكره على ما فهم وعلـم، وأشهد أن لا إله الا الله وحده لا شريك له شهادة أنجو بهـا من زلة القـدم، فى يوم الحسرة والندم، و أشهد ان سيـدنا محمدا عبـده ورسـوله سيـد العرب والعجم، صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه و سلـم وبعد فلما رأيت الهمم عن إرسال معاني الحقائق الفلكية قد قصرت
