d. Not therefore, as S2, the Quṭb al-zāhirāt of Sibṭ al-Māridīnī, Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad, b. 1423 , but the Ausz. in the G2, p. 217, of the Nujūm al-zāhirāt (itself a compendium of the Quṭb); even this connection, however, is a conjecture of Ahlwardt unsupported by the present MS
