Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وآله وصحبه وسلم قال العبد الفقير الى الله تعالى احمد بن ابراهيم بن الخليل الحلبي الميقاتي عفا الله عنه: الحمد لله الذي رفع السموات بقدرته وقدر فيها القمر منازل... أما بعد فإن لعلم الفلك فوايده عديده وفرايده مديده وغرره في حياة الدهور ظاهره
Explicit: والقران بين كوكبين متباغضين فهو الغاية في العداوة والله أعلم فايده في معرفة ساعات النهار لاي بلد شئت وهو ان تاخذ بتقويم الشمس مطالعها بالبلد الذي تريد ساعاتها وانقصه من مطالع نظيرها فما خرج فهو قوس النهار لتلك البلد اقسمه على خمسة عشر تخرج لك ساعات للنهار والله تعالى أعلم بالغيب
