Rawz̤at al-Ṣafāʼ by Mīr Khvānd, daftar 4-7 and epilogue

Contents

Summary of Contents: Volumes (daftars (دفتر)) 4-7 and the epilogue (khāṭimah), also known as the eighth volume of the Rawz̤at al-Ṣafāʼ, a general history from the creation of the world to the time of the author, by Muḥammad ibn Khāvandshāh (1433–1498), known as Mīr Khvānd. Daftar 7 and the epilogue were completed by his grandson, Khvānd Amīr.

The colophons are dated between 1689 and 1691 but were not completed in chronological order, reflecting the fact that they were formerly separate fascicles, perhaps of multiple copies, which are now bound together.
