Written at the beginning of the manuscript: Anno CIꓛ IꓛC XXII Angli civitatem ORMI Expugnantes Me flammis eripuerunt, tandemque Dominum nactus Adamum Bowen qui Bibliothecæ huic Sanctæ et Individuæ Trinitatis Me donavit M DC XXVIII.
