Summary of Contents: The work, compiled in 32 chapters, gives an account of some speeches, advices, interpretations of some Quranic verses, and some tales and narratives. The first chapter is on the two virtues of 'Bism Allāh al-raḥmān al-raḥīm', the second chapter on the virtue of 'Fātiḥah al-Kitāb', the fifth chapter on the virtue of Ḥaz̤rat Muṣtafá (PBUH), the tenth chapter on Holding the Tongue (Not to Speak), the 20th chapter on the virtue of Banquet, the 30th chapter on the Beauties of Tales, the 31st chapter on An Account of Forgiveness and Patience, and the 32nd chapter on Humility and Modesty.

Incipit: بسمله، که عالم شهادت تا در مظهر سر کنت کنزا مخفیا جلوه کند و آدمیان را موجود گردانید… آن عالی مقداری که فراغت و رفاهیت ساکنان این ولایت… برعایت عدل و احسان اوست… باعث بر تالیفاین مجموعه مملو از فواید آنک این فقیر حقیر دعاگوی اکثر اوقات بدعای خیر و جاندرازی حضرت مخدومی مواظبت می‌نمود… آن حضرتچندان انعامات و کرامات نسبت باین فقیر حقیر مخلص علی بن مولانا حسین ابن موسی المشتهر الواعض [واعظ] فرمودند که شمه‌ای از شمایم آن در حیز کتابت نمی‌گنجد خیال این شد که در مقابلهٔ انعامات و الطافات آن حضرت… این مختصر را که مشحونست از مواعظ و نصایح… نوشته شد آن را انیس‌العارفین نام نهاده شد مشتمل بر سی‌ودو باب…

Colophon: … فقد تمته النسخته الشریفیه… فی غره شهر جمادی الآخر سنه ۱۰۶۳… کتب العبد الضعیف… حسین خاکسار و چاکر دولت‌سرای حضرت محمد و علی و ایمهٔ معصومین… و علیهم اجمعین. تمت الکتاب بعون الملک الوهاب.

As reported by Aḥmad Munzavī (in فهرست نسخه‌های خطی فارسی ) and Āqā Buzurg Tihrānī (in الذریعه ), only two copies of this work had already been seen: one in the Library of Muḥammad ʿAlī Najafī in Najaf, and the other in Dār al-Kutub in Cairo. The copy of the Library of Ayatollah Ha'iri (Library of Faydiyya Seminary) in Qum was found after their report.

Additions: Stamp on f. 172a: خاک ره محمد ملائک… . Oval stamp wiped out on f. 172a. On end paper 1: hadith, interspersed Persian couplets, quotations from the Imams. On f. 172a: Persian poetry, the book's price.
