Ethics

In this work, under the impression of the number seven having sacred properties, seven sessions are prepared under the names of the seven days of the week. In each session, the author writes some content related to the day, including some ethical narratives and hadiths, and historical stories about prophets. At the beginning of each session, there are a Quranic verse and a hadith appropriate for the day on which a discussion is presented, followed by a narrative having the number seven mentioned somewhere as well as some supplementary ethical preachments and customs.

Incipit: ||… و الکوفه و الرابع العراق و الشام و الخراسان الی بلخ و الخامس الروم و ارمنیه…
Explicit: … ثم قال الله تعالی لجبرئیل قل لمحمد هل ترید منی الدیه فقال الرسول نعم الدیه تکون امتی والله اعلم تمت الرساله بعون الله تعالی.

Hadith

The author says that the work is a collection of whimsical hadiths, delicate points and references, and playful narratives, which are taken from various works such as Kutub al-tāj, and put together in a number of sessions.

Incipit: بسمله، حمدله، صلواه، قال الشیخ الامام المصنف زینه الائمه زین الواعظین… سلیمان بن داوود النسفی… اودعت فی هذا جملا و جوامعا من صناعه المذکرین مشتملا علی وعد الله و اوردت فیه من الاحادیث الغریبه و النکاة اللطیفه و الاشارة الظریفه… و سمیته کتاب بهجه الانوار من خفیات الاسرار استنبطه من اخرجت کتب الکثیره مثل کتاب التاج و اللطایف و المواید… و اخذت من النکاه ظرایفها و من الاشاراه طرایفها و کل لفظ استحسنه بالفارسیه کتبته کذالک تبرکا بالفاظ المشایخ الکبار… مجلس فی قوله تع و لقد خلقنا الانسان…
Explicit: … یعرفون اهل الجنه یوم القیمه قال النبی… بآثار و ضوئهم لانه علی ای موضع بلغ ما ماء الوضوء ففی یوم القیمه ضوء مثل القیمه لیله البدر.
