Summary of Contents: The author is very fond of the prophet's family, and says: as the enjoyment of peace in both worlds depends on the service to the prophet's family, I decided to prepare this treatise on biographies of each and every of the twelve Imāms such that they are introduced sufficiently. As a result, this treatise was created in twelve parts (each part containing an Imām's biography), each part including 24 chapters, as follows: chapter one, on Name; chapter two, on Laqab; chapter three, on Kunyah; chapter four, On Father's Name; chapter five, On Mother's Name; chapter six, Day of Birth; chapter seven, Month of Birth, chapter eight, Year of Birth; chapter nine, Place of Birth; chapter ten, Name of the Ruler at the Time of his Birth; chapter 11, On Virtues and Dignities; chapter 12, On Children; chapter 13, On Predecessors; chapter 14, On Jewel Design, chapter 15, On the Successor's Name, chapter 16, On the Length of Life; chapter 17, On Cause of Decease; chapter 18, Day of Decease; chapter 19, Month of Decease; chapter 20, Year of Decease; chapter 21, Name of the Ruler at the Time of his Decease; chapter 22, Place of Decease; chapter 23, Place of the Grave; chapter 24, Pilgrimage Reward.
