Incipit: بسمله، حمدله، چنین گوید بندهٔ خاکسار گنه‌کار محمد باقر بن محمد تقی… که این رساله‌ایست در بیان چگونگی احوالات کلمات اله التاقات اعنی حضرات ائمهٔ معصومین… از مدت حیات و سبب وفات و سنین عمر و عدد فرزندان و ازدواج و مواضع مشاهد ایشان… بر سبیل ایجاز و اختصار مینماید و آنرا بتذکره الائمه موسوم ساخت و بر مقدمه و چهارده باب و خاتمه مرتب گردانید…
Explicit: … و سایر صحابهٔ عظام از جمله سیصد و سیزده نفر باشند. و باینجا ختم شد اینرسالهٔ شریفه و قد فرغت من تسوید هذا الرساله… فی مشهد… علی بن موسی الرضا… فی اواخر شهر ذیحجه الحرام من خمس و ثمانین بعد الالف… و کتبت… ابن محمد تقی محمد باقر… تم بالخیر.
