Summary of Contents: The author says in the introduction: «چون ارکان نماز به زبان عربی وارد شده و بسیاری از ابنای عجم بلکه عرب از فهمیدن عاجزند بخاطر این ضعیف محسن بن مرتضی رسید که آنرا بزبان فارسی ترجمه نماید و بعضی آداب و فواید نیز بان منضم سازد تا شاید بعضی از مؤمنان از آن بهره‌مند گردند… به هشت باب مقرر ساخت و این هشت در را بمنزله درهای بهشت است بر روی طالبان گشوده و به ترجمة الصلوة موسوم ساخت». The eight 'doors' mentioned above include 1) در اذان و اقامه , 2) در ادعیه افتتاحیه , 3) در تفسیر سوره فاتحه‌الکتاب , 4) در تفسیر سوره قدر و توحید , 5) در رکوع و آداب آن , 6) در سجود و آداب آن , 7) در قنوت , and 8) در تشهد و تسلی .
