A beautiful copy of the famous Dīwān of al-Mutanabbī.
Title: Dīwān al-MutanabbīColophon on folio 128b says that the manuscript was completed on Monday 21 Jumada II 1047 AH (11 November 1637 CE) by Yūsuf Maʿtūq Al-Khawaja Tāj Baʿlabakkī.

Signature by Ismāʿīl bin Ibrāhīm with a seal on flyleaf iia: اسماعيل بن ابراهيم القاضري بمدينة حلب.
Formerly part of the collection of the Persian scholar Nathaniel Bland (1803-1865); see label on back paste-down: Bland No. 5.
Bland’s oriental manuscripts were sold through Bernard Quaritch in 1866 to Alexander Lindsay, 25th Earl of Crawford; his bookplate on the back paste-down: Bibliotheca Lindesiana E/5.
Purchased by Enriqueta Rylands in 1901 from James Ludovic Lindsay, 26th Earl of Crawford, for the John Rylands Library.
