Uniform layout. The text is in a frame of red and black lines. The headings of the chapters are in red, the important words are sometimes overlined in red.

Leather binding, with golden centrepiece and corners, decorated with floral motifs.

Origin: 1203 or 1204 AH (1789 or 1790 CE)Provenance and Acquisition
Previously in the collection of Colonel George William Hamilton (1807-1868) who served in India from 1823 to 1867, latterly as Commissioner of Delhi. He acquired over a thousand Indian and Persian manuscripts, from which the British Museum selected 352, now held in the British Library. His label on back paste-down: Hamilton MSS 92.
