1 copy of Zubdat al-fikrah fī taʼrīkh al-hijrah by Baybars al-Manṣūrī, ca. 1245-1325
Vol. 9 (559*-744 A.H. - 1164-1343 A.D.) only
*Brock.ʼs “599” in G2 is a misprint.
4) Vol. 7 (years 400-490/1009-1096): Istanbul, Faizullah Ms. 1459.
The Oxford manuscript, Bodleian Ms. Pococke 324 (see Uri, I, p. 158, n° DCCIV), which on its title page (fol. 2a) and its colophon (fol. 253a) claims to be the ninth volume of the Zubdat al-fikrah, is clearly not part of that work. The copying was completed on 10 Muḥarram 882/24 April 1477 by acertain Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Zayn al-Dīn ʻUmar ibn Gharsal-Dīn Khalīl ibn Nāṣir al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Akshafī. The text covers the period 559-744/1163-1344, and therefore includes on fol. 242b, sub anno 725, a notice of Baybarsʼ own death
