That is, the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Proverbs, Qoheleth, Ruth, Song of Songs, Bar Sira, and Job.

Support: Paper, 31 cm.
Extent: 272 ff. including a front flyleaf.

Condition

Ff. 2-4, 268-72 are replacement leaves.

Hand(s)

Written in a good regular East Syriac hand by a scribe named Joseph (named on f. 53v) of about the 18th cent. The later leaves were written by the priest Abraham in 1843 (f. 272r).

Binding

Oriental binding in full leather over wooden boards, similar to Add_1962.

Acquired for the SPCK by George Percy Badger and presented to the Library in 1887.
