The longer recension, consisting of ʿonyata said at the 'for ever and ever' at the night service (ff. 1r-238r) followed by a supplement of 'other ʿonyata' (239r-258r).

Support: Paper, 32½ cm.
Extent: 262 ff.

Hand(s)

Written in a clear regular East Syriac hand dated 1990 AS ( = 1678 CE). The scribe gives the name of his teacher Isḥaq son of Mqisheya ʿAzar and Mosul as the place of writing.

Binding

Bound in bare paper boards with a canvas backstrip and wide woven head- and tailbands.

Presented by Huw Ifor Lloyd, 1928.

It was formerly ms. Alqosh 164 (Vosté, 61), apparently taken from that library not long before it came to England with Lloyd.
