Condition

Some leaves are attached to guards and many are replacments for lost leaves.

Hand(s)

Written by an unidentified scribe in a neat but uncalligraphic East Syriac hand in 2 columns. The inside column contains the main text; the outside column in smaller writing the commentary.

A colophon on f. 111v gives the date for finishing the ms. as 1996 AS (= 1685. CE)

Binding

Bound in full red leather over wooden boards in 1876 by the deacon Abraham Shekwana of Alqosh.
