Hymns and prayers for the feasts of the W. Syriac ecclesiastical year. The surviving leaves span the feasts from the Consecration of the church until the Sunday of Hosannas.

Physical Description

Support: Paper, 25 cm.
Extent: 81 ff.

Condition

Badly damaged and imperfect. Many leaves including at least one whole quire are lost in the middle of the volume, and further leaves at the end. Ff. 19-29 are partly torn away. Many leaves are repaired. All the leaves are stained from long handling.

Written in an uncalligraphic serto hand of probably the 16th or 17th cent.

Binding

Bound in wooden boards with a canvas spine, now in poor condition.
