Title: E. Syriac services and hymns.

The ms. is imperfect, the rubrics are much faded, and the nature of the services is not very clear. They include hymns to be said in procession. At the end of the ms. there are orders of service for the Sundays after Easter. The services are associated with the Monastery of Mar Yonan at Anbar.

Support: Paper, 16½ cm.
Extent: 188 ff.

Condition

Leaves are wanting at the beginning, end and elsewhere. The remaining leaves are stained and some are attached on guards.

Hand(s)

Written in a neat lean E. Syriac hand of about the 16th cent.

Binding

Bound in wooden boards, the spine now repaired.
