An abridged version of al-Masīḥī's compendium of medicine (al-Iqtiḍāb ʻalá ṭarīq al-masʼalah wa-radd ʻalá al-jawāb), written in the form of questions and answers.

The text differs from WMS Arabic 422 from the fol. 70b.10 onwards. In comparison with the manuscripts WMS Arabic nos. 422 and 423, the present manuscript has different phrasing as well as additional text. Some questions and answers are supplied with additional commentaries (الحاشية). The following folios contain the additional commentaries: fols 2a, 7a, 8a, 16a, 25a, 27a, 28a, 29b, 40a, 71b.
