Brief Persian translation and commentary on the Fakhr al-Ḥasan of Muḥammad Fakhr al-Dīn ibn Qāz̤ī Munʿim Niẓām al-Dīn Niẓāmī Awrangābādī Dihlavī (d. 27 Jumādá II 1199/7 May 1785), by an adherent of Chishtī Sufism and disciple of the author, Muḥammad ʿAlī Karbalāʾī.
The work examines the authenticity of the chain of transmission or isnād of traditions from the Imam and Caliph ʿAlī to Ḥasan of Baṣrah without further intermediary links.
The translation was undertaken at the request of Aʿazz al-Dawlah Khvājah ʿAzīz Khān Bahādur al-Riz̤avī al-Ḥusaynī Iqtidār'jang.
The work begins with a brief introduction, followed by five faṣl and a khātimah.
Defective at end.
