Rare theological treatise by the imām and nāʾib of the Deccan city, Deogiri Daulatabad, who identifies himself as Aḥmad ibn Abū al-Qāsim Naṣīr known as Ikhtiyār al-Dīn Abū Ṭālib ibn Jamāl al-Dīn al-ʿAlavī, completed on 1 Muḥarram 773/23 July 1371, after the draft was corrected and reviewed by his ustād
The work is divided two bāb on the conduct of dervishes and on the divine litany
