Compendium of Twelver Shīʿī etiquette, ritual and elective prayers in accordance with the 24-hour diurnal and nocturnal cycle divided into 6 uneven periods, each has a chapter or bāb devoted to it, here translated from the Arabic work Miftāḥ al-falāḥ attributed to Bahāʾ al-Dīn Muḥammad ʿĀmilī (1547-1621) by Ṣadr al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Tabrīzī and named after, if not dedicated to, Shāh ʿAbbās I.

Neat scribal naskh with copious annotations in red shikastah.

Detached leather binding, delaminating and damaged by wormholes.

Oblong octagonal seal impression (f. 1v): Ṭufayl Muḥammad-i Murād ʿAlī 12[3?]7/1821-2.
