The author was born at Fīrūzkūh (Khurāsān) in 589/1193, and travelled to India in 624, where he became a high offcial of Nāṣir al-Dīn Maḥmūd ibn Altmish (or Iltutmish) to whom this work is dedicated
Orthography and diacritics unusual
Naskh script by Yaʿqūb ibn Ibrāhīm Ghūrī (?). Illuminated and coloured rulings. Damaged. Poorly repaired
