History of Kashmir, written between circa 1190 / 1776 to 1200 / 1786, and dedicated by the author to Shāh ʿAlam (r. 1759-86)
Based on the work Vāqiʿāt-i Kashmīr by Khvājah Muḥammad Aʿẓam (possibly the present author's father)
Consists of the muqaddimah and an incomplete fifth ṭabaqah, containing an account on the Timurids or Moguls, ending with the year 1150
Author's full name is: Badīʿ al-Dīn Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad Aslam 'Munʿimī' ibn Mawlavī Muḥammad Aʿẓam Kawl 'Mustaghnī'
The work may be identical with the works Gawharnāmah-yi ʿĀlam and Gawhar-i ʿĀlam
