The work contains a reference indistinctly attributing authorship to a certain Dhīrdhar of the qawm of Kāthah (=Kāyath/Kāyastha), resident in the district Mohanpur, in the parganah of Itawa, in [sarkār] Akbarābād (Agra)
Colophon (f. 207v): completed in Shahjahanabad, in the Dharampūrah muḥallah adjoining the Masjid-i Ganjūr in the Haveli of Fatḥ Khān and Dāʾī-jān Bībī, on Tuesday, 4 Z̲ī Qaʿdah 1190/15 December 1776, Kārtik 1838 Samat, regnal year 23 of Emperor Shāh ʿĀlam's reign, by Satī (?) Rām Pandit
