Miscellaneous reports or akhbār on events and transactions at several courts, including 1) the Timurid or Mughal Emperor Akbar Shāh II’s imperial court at Delhi and government of India, entitled Akhbār-i darbār-i muqaddas-i muʿallá, 2) the Maratha court of Jasvant Rao Holkar, entitled Muntakhab-i akhbār, 3) the Maratha armies of Jasvant Rao Holkar, entitled Akhbār-i lashkar, 4) the Rajput court of Rao (Rajah) Sivai Jai Singh, entitled Akhbār-i dyūdhī, 5) the Sikh court of Sardar (Maharajah) Ranjit Singh, entitled Akhbār-i dyūdhī, and 6) the Rajput court of Sivai Jagat Singh, also entitled Akhbār-i dyūdhī

Accounts partially cover the period from 23 Ramaz̤ān 1224/2 November 1809 to 22 Muḥarram regnal year 5 (=1226)/17 February 1811

English note at end (f. 49v): Hydenham (?) Resident, Hydrabad 26th November 1809 Accounts additionally dated on reverse (recto face) with Gregorian dates

Accounts on single leaves and scrolls mounted in volume in English order, with each news or khabar leaf beginning on the verso side and mounted in reverse, yet unsystematic, date order, the first folio being the latest khabar and the last (f. 49) being the earliest
