A completed and witnessed certificate of Sufi initiation. The document states that Mīrzā Ḥaydar, son of the late Mīrzā Muḥammad known as Khiz̤r Khān, has made his pledge of allegiance under the guidance of Darvīsh Ḥusayn Dalvdūz Ikhtiyār Iṣfahānī. The name of the Sufi order concerned is not specified.

Isfahan. Shavvāl 1221/December 1806-January 1807.

Calligraphic naskhī. 28 lines, plus Basmala and heading cartouche. Small illuminated heading in plain silver, resembling in form those found in manuscripts. Gold and orange lines enclosing whole text and between each line. Seal impressions of witnesses. 885 x 312 mm. Backed with cotton cloth.
