Title: Maʿrifat al-nafsTitle: معرفة النّفسLanguage(s): Persian and ArabicTreatise on Qādirī Ṣūfī doctrine and conceptions of Allāh by the Chishtī biographer and author of the Savāṭiʿ al-anvār, Muḥammad Akram ibn Muḥammad ʿAlī al-Barāsavī, written in honour of the author’s master, a certain Shāh Rawnaq, leader of the Ṣūfī order Ṭarīqah Rawnaqīyah.
Dated colophon (f. 119v): completed 10 Rabīʿ II 1258/21 May 1842.
The volume is marked by orthographic errors.
Bold and awkward nastaʿlīq.
