Treatise on Mujaddidī Naqshbandī Sufism for novices, expanding on the writings of the Imām Rabbānī Mujaddid-i Alf-i S̲ānī Shaykh Aḥmad Fārūqī Sarhindī (d. 1034/1624), by an author who appears to have been an adherent of his teachings, named at the beginning Abū Saʿīd Mujaddidī and in the colophon Abū Saʿīd Naqshbandīyah Aḥmadīyah.
The title and author’s name is stated in the colophon alone.
The work was begun in 1225/1810 at Delhi, and completed around 1233/1818.
The work is divided into five faṣl.
Dated colophon (f. 48r): completed Friday, 23 Rajab 1249/6 December 1833.
