Summary of Contents: Daftars V (item a) and VI (item b) of the allegorical Ṣūfī Mas̲navī by "Rūmī" (d. 670/1271). Partially illuminated, gilt rulings only on first folio of each item; headpiece to item a missing. Rough scribal nastaʿlīq. Dense and detailed annotations and corrections in margins throughout. Stamped and Persian foliation. Binding damaged, detached boards (tooled reddish brown leather exterior embellished with medallions and outer bands of oxidised silver, pinkish brown leather doublure); doublure of front cover removed, exposing inner matter (Kaithi text). Folios unbound; cropped, wormholes, later repairs. Condition very fragile.

Daftar V of the Mas̲navī-'i maʿnavī by "Rūmī" Mawlānā Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Bahāʾ al-Dīn Valad Balkhī (d. 670/1271).

Dated colophon (f. 62v): completed 17 Ramaz̤ān in RY 48 of Emperor ʿĀlamgīr I.

The work is followed by a lengthy excerpt from the commentary by the Timurid scholar and historian, ʿAbd al-Laṭīf the munshīʾ (f. 63r).

Illuminated ʿunvān to folio 1v missing.

Dated colophon (f. 132r): completed Monday, 15 Rajab in RY 47 of Emperor ʿĀlamgīr I.

The work is followed by a lengthy excerpt from the commentary by the Timurid scholar and historian, ʿAbd al-Laṭīf the munshīʾ (ff. 132v-133r).
