Summary of Contents: Miscellaneous collection of Persian and Arabic works on Shīʿī doctrine and inter-sectarian polemics, comprising five heterogeneous items from differing sources. Volume not dated; items a and c dated separately, ranging from 4 Muḥarram-15 Ramaz̤ān 1252/21 April-24 December 1836. Rough nastaʿlīq and naskh, usually in thin, watery ink, by multiple hands. Annotated in margins. Stamped foliation. Binding broken, detached boards (pale green floral decorative paper edged with brown leather; torn and rubbed). Sufi tractate in defence of Shīʿī thought by the poet and diarist, Shaykh Muḥammad ʿAlī ibn Abū Ṭālib Muḥammad Lāhijī Gīlānī "Ḥazīn" (d. 1180/1766), completed at Lahore.
Dated colophon (f. 88r): completed by Ḥamzah ʿAlī, Sunday, 15 Ramaz̤ān 1252/24 December 1836.
The work consists on a muqaddimah, three fātiḥah and tawṣiyah sections.
Arabic quotations are occasionally overlined in red.
Annotations in margins, some indicating the work has been checked against an authority.
The work is preceded (flyleaves 1Ar-1Bv) by dense annotations collecting excerpts from varied sources on Shīʿī traditions.

The work is endorsed at the end by the scribe as Risālah-'i radd-i Akhbārīyah.
The date of the work’s completion is stated as Ramaz̤ān 1093/September 1682.
Colophon not dated (f. 142v): completed by Aṣghar ʿAlī.

Annotations in margins, some indicating the work has been checked against an authority.
The work is followed by a lengthy Arabic note (ff. 170v-171r) on the authenticity of the phrase ‘al-ṣalātu khayrun min al-nawm’ in the āz̲ān to the fajr prayer.

Incomplete commentary to a treatise on Shīʿī apologetics, the Āʾīnah-'i ḥaqq'numā of Mawlavī Dildār ʿAlī al-Naṣīrābādī Lakhnavī (d. 1235/1811), by ʿAbd al-ʿAẓīm al-Ḥusaynī al-Iṣfahānī.
The work opens with an Arabic preface detailing its dedication to and title after the King of Avadh (Oudh), Navvāb Rifʿat al-Dawlah Rafīʿ al-Mulk Ghāzī al-Dīn Ḥaydar Khān Bahādur Shahāmatjang (d. 1243/1827).
The text breaks off abruptly at the end of folio 284v without conclusion or subscription.

Rough scribal nastaʿlīq with awkward naskh for select passages of Arabic.
