Treatise on astrology

Contents

Untitled work on astrology and cosmology, by an unnamed author active around the mid sixteenth century.

The work bears an endorsement at the beginning as the Ḥawz̤ al-ḥayāt, but a further note throws doubt on this by calling the title mashkūk (suspicious).

The work begins with a muqaddimah and follows with two maqālah, each subdivided into two qism. The work lacks a conclusion.

The work has many informally sketched diagrams.

Not dated at end; datable to early eighteenth century.
