Naqshbandī treatise on z̲ikr or divine remembrances and other observations (including breathing exercises) by Sayyid [Shāh] Quṭb al-Dīn Muḥammad Ashraf Ḥaydar Ḥusayn ibn Sayyid ʿInāyat Allāh [al-Dihlavī Khujandī], the khalīfah or successor to the Naqshbandī Ṣūfī, Shaykh Muḥammad Zubayr (d. 1152/1740), in whose honour this work is named.
The work consists of three faṣl.
Arabic quotations and formulae in red ink.
Not dated at end; datable to early nineteenth century.
Scribal nastaʿlīq.
Stamped foliation.
Binding damaged (decorated paper over half leather boards, spine mostly intact), labels.
Folios mostly unbound. Minor stains and wormholes.
