Untitled commentary on daftar 5 of the Mas̲navī-'i maʿnavīof Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī (d. 670/1271) by Mawlānā Muḥammad ʿAbd al-ʿAlī ibn Quṭb al-Dīn, composed circa 1700.
Dated colophon (f. 135v): completed by Gangā Rām Kāyath, resident of Nāytvārah(?), 8 Muḥarram… (year not entered). Datable to early nineteenth century.
Rough nastaʿlīq.
Occasional annotations and corrections in margins.
Intermittent pencil foliation.
Lacking original binding.
Binding with delaminating detached board (end) with combed marbled paper, reddish brown leather edges; spine damaged.
Folios mostly bound; water stains; folio 1 torn.
Condition fragile.
