Summary of Contents: The fourth volume of an abridged translation of ابن خلکان Ibn Khallikān, 1211-1282's Arabic work وفیات الاعیان Wafayāt al-a‘yān. According to the colophon (folio 120a, lines 14-15), this is an autograph (i.e. penned by Rodosîzade Mehmet bin Mehmet, -1701 himself).

Origin: Place of origin unknown. According to the colophon, completed in 7 February 1681 CE; 23 Şa‘bān 1092 AH.

Provenance and Acquisition

The Library of Archbishop Narcissus Marsh, d. 1713.

The Marsh bequest entered the Bodleian Library in 1714.
