Naskh in black ink. The colophon on folio 99a describes the scribe as el-faḳīr Aḥmed bin el-Ḥācī Yūsuf الفقیر احمد بن الحاجی یوسف , who may or may not also be the author of this work.
- Marginalia in Ottoman Turkish on folio 102b reads: دارنده قضاسنده حاجی درویش محلهسنده اوجاقچی زاده علی مخدومی محمد علی.
- Marginalia in Ottoman Turkish on the back cover reads: دارنده قضاسنده حاجی درویش محلهسنده الوان زاده حسن افندینك خانهسنده ۱۲ تشرین اول پرشنبه کونی کیجه ساعت الاتورکه بره اون قاله اودایه چیقدیم حسن بك و مصطفی بکلری کوزلیوردم افندم سر محرر. (The signature which follows is illegible.)

Provenance and Acquisition
Per marginalia on folio 102b, this manuscript appears to have spent some time in the possession of one Ocaḳcızāde ʿAlī Efendi Maḫdūmī اوجاقجی زاده علی افندی مخدومی of the Hacıderviş neighbourhood of the town of Darende in present day Malatya, Turkey.
Purchased from Thornton's, January 1974. Sold erroneously as "Kurdish religious poems".
