Models of letters from superiors to inferiors and vice versa, both official and familiar ones. Most of these are of the well-known branches of epistolography, viz. شفاعت نامه (letters of intercession and recommendation), عرض نامه (memorials or petitions), شفقت نامه or تعزیت نامه (letters of condolence), محبت نامه (letters of affection), تذکرة (official notes), etc. No preface nor author's name. Twice the date AH 999=AD 1590/1591 appears, viz. on ff. 28a and 36b. On ff. 44b-48 the usual فصل ارقام or سیاقت نامه, tables for counting in ciphers, numbers and letters of the Arabic alphabet, are found.
