Being extracts, as we learn from ff. 1b and 56a, from the سپارش سته سلیمی or Selīmi's six recommendations or charges, apparently a collection made either by Selīmī, i.e. Sulṭān Selīm I (reigned AH 918-926= AD 1512-1520) himself, who wrote many poetical compositions, or at least compiled for and dedicated to him, see also fol. 35. The six سپارش from whom these extracts are culled are (1) نقش نگین شاهی ; (2) تحفة الملوك الهى ; (3) سیر سلوك عارفين or simply سلوك عاترفین ; (4) جلوهٔ جميل و حمید کاملین or simply ; سیر كاملين ; (5) ذخیرهٔ جان ; and (6) تواریخ جان و جهان. None of these treatises seem to be mentioned anywhere. The extracts begin with the مقدمات قصيدة الفيه thus: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم فتح جان و دل گنجینه مفتاح قدیم. The fihrist and the twelve maḳāles of the same ḳaṣīde are found on ff. 56a-80b. The other extracts consist chiefly of mes̠nevīs and ḥikāyāt. On fol. 988 a Turkish paraphrase of some of Farīd al-dīn ʿAṭṭār's (see above, Nos. 622-633) verses. At the end, on ff. 129-132, there are six circles, showing (1) عالم غیب الغيوب; (2) عالم لاهوت; (3) عالم ناسوت دوائر نفوس سوا; (4) عالم مثال و اجسام وصورت الخ; (5) عالم اسفل سافلین; and (6) صورت هیأت و هندسه صحن اسفل سافلین. This copy was presented to the Library by Archbishop Laud, 1635.
