A book on the rites and observances of the Muslim creed, according to the Hanafite doctrine, adapted from the Persian work, by Mawlānā ʿAbd al-ʿazīzī Fārisī, but greatly enlarged and extended. The Turkish translator's name is ʿAbdürraḥmān bin Yūsuf el-Aḳsarayī (see fol. 5a, ln. 7, 8 and 12-14), and he completed this work according to the chronogram at the end of the book on fol. 182a, ln. 8: لذکر دو شدی تاریخی لمفخر ده اكا اداش, A. To these five sections of the Persian original there are added here several new chapters, for which see Fleischer, Dresden Cat., and Rieu, loc. cit. The subdivisions are bābs, faṣls, and mes̠'eles. Beginning of the book on fol. 4b: الحمد لله ربّ العالمين الرحمن الرحیم مالك یوم الدين اياك نعبد الخ. At the end the same enumeration of authorities, consulted both by the Persian author and the Turkish translator, as in Fleischer's, Rieu's, and W. Pertsch's copies. A full index on ff. 1b-3a. Ff. 7 and 8 are a little injured at the bottom. Dated by Muṣṭafā bin el-Ḥācī Muḥammed in the middle of Muḥarrem, A.H. 1045=A.D. 1635, beginning of July.
