MS. Marsh 187 (Bodleian Library, Oxford University)

A comparative vocabulary of Latin, Modern Greek, Ottoman Turkish, a Kipchakised variety of Chaghatay (described as "Tatarice"), Armenian, Ruthenian (described as "Slavonice seu Russice"), and Wallachian/Romanian/Arumanian words arranged in seven columns, beginning with Latin on the left side, and concluding with Wallachian on the right. In some places the Greek is omitted. The Latin words only are arranged in alphabetical order.

Clackson and Vaux (2018) established that Albertus Bobovius, a.k.a. Ali Ufkî (1610-1675), was the actual author of the dictionary. Ralph Cleminson (personal correspondence) suggests it was possibly the result of a desire to supplement his edition of Calepinus with six languages not in the original.

The section labeled 'Tartarice' appears to be in a sort of post-Classical Chaghatay heavily influences by a spoken variety of Kipchak Turkic. Nandriș (1957) asserts that the Wallachian elements are best described as Arumanian or Macedono-Romanian. Svoboda (1956) labels the 'Slavonice' elements a type of early Ukrainian, whereas Agata Pawlina (personal correspondence) suggests that 'Ruthenian' is a more appropriate label until such time as the dialectal features of the material can be assessed more thoroughly.
