From the first of Receb, A.H. 1002, to the end of Cemāẕī el-āḫir, A. H. 1003= A. D. 1594, March 23-1595, March 11, drawn up at the request of Sulṭān Muḥammed Ḫān bin Murād Ḫān (i. e. Muḥammed III, who reigned as successor of Murād III, A. H. 1003-1012 A. D. 1595-1603), under the charge and care of Muṣṭafā Aġa (or Āġā-yı Dārü s-sa'ādet), the inspector of the pious foundations for the holy cities in the said realms. The actual compiler appears to have been Muḥammed bin Muḥammed, who performed the office of an examiner or auditor of accounts for the vaḳfs. It was written in Şaʿbān, A.H. 1003= A. D. 1595, April-May. A tuġra on fol. 1a.
