1 copy of Tarikh-i Firoz-Shahi by Z̤iyāʼ al-Dīn Baranī, fl. 1284-1356

F1a: A.G. Ellis 14.9.99 (also on the preceding folio, recto.) Flyleaf before text, recto: Abbott Col First flyleaf, recto: dah juz' (10 sections) and note of price. This is repeated inside the back cover. Inside front cover: armorial bookplate of James Abbott, motto 'Hesperidum'. Very possibly the famous Sir James Abbott of Abbottabad fame. See Buckland. Within the MS are a pencilled note in the hand of Simon Digby describing it and a card with 'Mr. Hast. Macsween R. Engineers' written on it. A history of the Sultans of Delhi from Balban to Firoz Shah Tughluq. This copy is defective, breaking off towards the end of the reign of Balban.
