Although this volume continues Codrington/Reade No 102 and is recorded as the second volume of Khafi Khan's history in the R.A.S. catalogues both volumes are parts of the second volume of the history. Front flyleaf, recto: Presented to the Oriental Translation Committee by Sir A. Malet Bart. F1a, impression of rectangular seal, dated 1200: Mistir Charls War Malit Bahadur Firuz Jang Ihtisham al-Daulah wa Nasir al-Mulk. Last folio, recto, impression of the same seal. Inside back cover, armorial bookplate of Sir Cha. Warre Malet. Written by the same scribe as Codrington/Reade No 103. Part of the second volume containing the history of the reign of Aurangzib. A.H.1068 to 1118 (A.D. 1706-7). Part of the same work as Codrington/Reade No 102. Headings and punctuation in red.
