First folio, recto. a) Signature of Edward Galley, in ink, beside impression of his small rectangular seal with his name in Persian, with date (illegible). b) Pencilled note: D. Price by Purchase 20th Septr 1802 c) Note in Arabic recording transfer of the book to Abu Talib son of Muhammad? son of Shaikh Abu 'l-Qasim in the first third of the second month of 11*?7 (partly trimmed). Eight and six folios from end, rectos, impressions of small rectangular seal of Sadr l-Din, dated 1111?. Six folios from the end, recto, impression of small elongated octagonal seal, insciption perhaps in verse. Final folio, verso: a) List of books belonging to Abu Talib dated Muharram 1169. b) List of books belonging to Abu Muhammad (?). Panels of illumination above beginning of text, and at beginning of part 2. Ruled margins. Red headings and punctuation.
