On blue watermarked paper, probably Russian. Folio 1, recto: Presented by Colonel Monteith Dec. 4. 1830 aA history of the Qajar family, from its origin to the death of Agha Muhammad Khan in A.H. 1211. Ends with a poem by Fath 'Ali Khan Saba. Owing to misunderstandings Morley gave the title as Ahsan al-Tawarikh and the author's name as Samad. See Rieu. Some headings in red.
