Apparently the opening section of the reign of Muhammad II is missing. Cf. Rieu's description. Third flyleaf, verso: Presented by Sir John Malcolm May 19. 1827. Folio one, recto: Note of purchase dated Isfahan Rabi' I 1193. Heavily illuminated initial opening. Ruled margins in gold. Headings and punctuation in red. A History of the Ottoman Dynasty from 'Osman Beg Ghazi to Bayizid Khan II. This MS contains the sixth and (apparently part of) the seventh historical books, covering the reigns of Murad II and Muhammad II.

Incipit: Blurred by damp and not easily legible in the absence of parallels.
