Summary of Contents: 1 copy of 'Ilajat Dara Shikuhi. Vol. II by Muḣammad 'Abd Allāh, Nūr al-Dīn, al-Shīrāzi̲, active 1625-1640

F1a: a) Note of purchase for 20 rupees, partly trimmed off but similar to that dated 1142 on f252a of vol. I; above impression of seal of the slave of the court Muhammad Shah, as at beginning of vol. 1. b) Note in Persian giving numer of folios as 636. c) Impression of rectangular seal with three dates, as on vol. 1. d) Notice of purchase of vol. III (sic) for 100 rupees. Next to defaced impression of largish round seal. Vol II written not far away. F636a: impression of oval seal dated 1147, as on vol. I. F636b: a medical prescription. As for Codrington/Reade No 195. Written in more than one hand. Headings and punctuation in red. In the section on the medical properties of animal products there small miniature pictures animals, birds etc. in the margins.
